The Options Engine is a Chrome extension developed by thacash that provides additional calculations for analyzing options contracts using Yahoo Finance options chain tables. This free extension aims to save time and enhance the analysis of options trades.
With Options Engine, users can benefit from automatic calculations that supplement the data provided by Yahoo Finance options chain tables. For each row in the options chain, the extension calculates the difference between the current stock price and the strike price. It also highlights in green the rows that are interesting to options sellers based on this calculation.
Additionally, Options Engine calculates the seller income percentage based on the average of the option contract prices as a percentage of the stock and strike prices separately. The extension also includes features to reduce scrolling and clicking, such as displaying the current price in the browser's tab for easy reference.
